The Eagle has taken off!

I am lazy today so I took the first picture I found to post. I don't have any Eagles in my yard which is a good thing because they sometimes eat birds and cats-and deer for that matter. I saw a video online of an Eagle killing a deer. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it.
The Eagles around here land where they can watch the river. Not many stay here year-round because they like colder weather.
I have been trying to get shots of my Orioles or Warblers but strangely its my feeder that won't co-operate. The suction cups that hold the feeder frame keep losing suction & the whole thing falls to the ground or the little copper wire that holds the shotglass with the grape jelly gives a bit and the glass falls to the ground. Now you would think that all this would be trama inducing for the birds but no, I watched one land on the feeder, look for the jelly, then dive to the ground to get it. Birds so do adapt don't they? But I will get new suction cups this weekend when I go shopping and will have pics soon. I promise.
