The Changeling Hosta

This is one of my Hostas. It used to be totally verigated. For like ten years. Last year it started growing leaves that are non-verigated. Now you might think that there is some hybrid thing going on here but I don't know. Its not been damaged, not diseased (that I know of) and not near any Hostas even remotely like it, in fact it is near identical Hostas. And those other Hostas are not changing at all. So I have decided that this particular Hosta wants to change into a non-varigated variety and that must be tough because it is taking it years to totally transform itself. Now you might think that plants cannot will themselves to change because they lack a brain and yet... studies have shown that plants respond to music so I answer you don't know that a plant has no capacity to think. Perhaps they have instinct. But I digress....
I was discussing change. These days most people want things to change and yet when those changes start they may look like something you don't want at all. Or they may feel very uncomfortable. What you need to understand tho is that for change to happen you must allow it not fight it. You may have to give something up in order to get what you say you want. If you have lack and you want abundance then you must give up everything connected to lack. And I mean everything. You don't have to kick anybody or anything out the door, quite the contrary. Lack will leave on its own once you allow abundance to flow in.
So what's the trick? You must think thoughts of abundance. You can't sit around and think about eveything thats wrong or bad and expect good to flow to you. And you have to appreciate what you already have. It's simple but not always easy. Lack thought is a habit. More about habits next time.
